Responsibilities

• Cartesia is hiring an AI-native Software Engineer, AI & Developer Acceleration to optimize developer experience and maximize ship velocity for Cartesia engineers by building tooling at the frontier of AI coding. You will also build a playbook to enable engineers and non-engineers alike to rapidly ship consistent, maintainable internal tools unassisted.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a focus on writing maintainable code.
• Expert in TypeScript, Python, or Go.
• Deep curiosity about the state of agentic coding tools and how to optimize agent-assisted workflows.
• Constantly updated on advancements in AI-assisted development and eager to validate them in a real-world setting.
• Strong writing skills that help you craft detailed, nuanced agent instructions and communicate internally and externally about your learnings.
• Experience collaborating with non-technical teams to build internal tools.
