Responsibilities

  • CSC Shared Services is the centralized finance backbone supporting every brand in the portfolio. This role exists to own the month-end close end-to-end, run Accounts Payable operations, and systematically automate the manual work that slows a lean accounting team down.
  • As Accounting Manager, Shared Services — Month-End Close & Operations , you will deliver clean, timely, audit-ready actuals while building the AI-driven automation that lets a small team scale across a growing portfolio. In your first 90 days, success means owning the close independently, measurably compressing the close cycle through automation, and resolving vendor disputes with data-backed precision.
  • This is a lean team. You will own a lot, move fast, and make decisions with full end-to-end responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years in accounting/finance with direct, hands-on ownership of a full month-end close
  • Strong technical accounting fundamentals: accruals, prepaids, reclasses, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations under GAAP
  • Hands-on AP experience, including direct vendor communication and dispute resolution
  • Daily working familiarity with AI/LLM tools and a demonstrated track record of applying them to eliminate manual finance work
  • Strong SQL for data extraction and transformation; advanced Excel
  • Solid grasp of GAAP and core accounting principles
  • Hands-on experience with payroll journal entries and payroll platforms (e.g., Paylocity)
  • Multi-entity / multi-brand accounting experience
  • Able to walk through an automation you personally built and shipped — what it does, how, and the time it saved
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable owning a process under a hard monthly clock
  • CPA or MBA
  • Proficiency in Python for data work and automation (e.g., pandas; scripting against APIs and databases)
  • Hands-on experience with workflow-automation and agent platforms (e.g., n8n) and building micro-apps/utilities (e.g., Claude Code)
  • Deep, hands-on experience with NetSuite (SuiteAnalytics/ODBC)
  • Familiarity with AP and payment platforms (e.g., Stripe, Ramp)
  • E-commerce or retail industry experience
